French Immersion

The French Immersion program at École Meridian Heights School was established in 1985 to:

  • Provide an immersion setting to allow the students to become functionally bilingual.
  • Provide a positive, healthy, stimulating and culturally rich environment.
  • Function within the bounds of an already established English speaking school in an English speaking community.
  • Promote the view that all cultures are complementary and to promote constant and continual involvement of the parents, formally and informally, in the child's life at school and to integrate home and school.
