At École Meridian Heights School (EMHS), we recognize that some families need to make alternate arrangements for the care and supervision of their children. For this reason, we offer an optional, licensed Out of School Care (OSC) program to help families.
The OSC is offered to EMHS students by Cindy Van Beers, who also currently operates a similar program at Blueberry School and Parkland Village School. The program can accommodate up to 45 students in Kindergarten to Grade 6, who will be under the care of certified staff with valid first aid certificates.
OSC staff assist students by operating a learning-through-play program with access to the gym and outdoor areas, weather permitting. OSC students are provided with morning and afternoon snacks, hot & cold cereals and fruit bowls.
School Days: 7am to 1st bell; dismissal bell to 6pm
PD / Non-Instructional Days (including Fall, Christmas & Spring Break, and Teacher's Convention): 7am-6pm
Full time: $430/month
Full time subsidized: $115/month
AM Only: $170/month
PM Only: $280/month
PD / Non-Instructional Full Days: $40/day
Part time rates are also available upon request.
